Design–Build:
Is a method to deliver a project where the design and construction services are contracted by a single entity. Design-Build creates single point responsibility and can streamline the design and construction phases in the right type of contract. Benefits can be minimized risks for the Project Owner and reduced delivery schedule by overlapping the design and construction phases.
Design–Build can save time and money for the Owner, while providing the opportunity to achieve innovation in the delivered facility. Design–Build places the responsibility for design errors on the Contractor, relieving the Owner of many potential unexpected costs.
RICHMOND ENGINEERING supports the Design-Build process by working directly with MEP Contractors. We enjoy the close working relationship and provide fast, quality, permit-suitable construction documents on time to meet the excellerated construction schedules.
Some of our recent Design-Build projects are:

Plumbing design for 26,000 square foot Gastroenterology Clinic.
We provided Plumbing and HVAC designs for approximately 28,000 square foot, 3 story, mixed use building that included a Distillery, Brewery, classrooms, and restaurant.
